Basic Strategy:
As evident in the title, this deck focuses on creating an infinite loop and exploiting it. Basically, you get an en-Kor out, which you can pay 0: redirect the next 1 damage that would be dealt to en-Kor to target creature. Then a Task Force is played. Task Force gets +0/+3 whenever it is targeted. According to current errata(Crystal Keep Errata), the en-Kor can be used to target the Task Force an unlimited amount of times allowing its toughness to approach infinity. This is when Worthy Cause is played and Task Force is sacrificed. Worthy Cause allows one to gain life equal to the toughness of a sacrificed creature. Then one simply attacks the opponent until he/she is dead Some counter is added to allow the combo to work. Best Moment: I was playing my brother(Dan) and he had no idea this was an infinite combo deck. Anyway, I got the Task Force and en-Kor out and proceeded to draw a Worthy Cause. I played the cause on the Task Force after using the en-Kor resulting in an infinite amount of life. My problem was, I didn't have a way for the deck to win at the time(I just wanted to play the combo). I had a Feldon's Cane in the deck and used it after I drew the last card in my deck. A few turns later, he decked himself and I won by default. Nonetheless, this was the first time I had ever pulled off an infinite combo and also the first time I won because someone was decked. |
